FINDING THE PERFECT FIT

We get a lot of questions on how to find the perfect fit. It's so important and often confusing, and we want to help. You don't want to the ring to fly off while you're doing jazz hands, but you don't want your ring so tight that it cuts off circulation on a hot summer day.

General Rule of Thumb

Your ring should slide over the knuckle fairly easily and take a bit of force and wiggle to get it off. It's a good idea to size your finger a few times on different days to get a sense for how much it fluctuates.

Factors to Consider

Fluctuating Hands: Our hands are constantly fluctuating in size throughout the day and year-round. Bloating, humidity, time-of-day, temperature, pregnancy, arthritis, and other factors will affect the size of your finger so it's best to measure a few different times before deciding what size is best for you. For example: Do you want to wear a ring on your middle ring finger? The size that fits best in summer may be too big in winter, meaning you might have to move the ring to your index finger during the colder months. Taking these things into consideration will help you make the decision that’s right for you.

Ring Shape and Width: Wide rings take up more real estate and will feel tighter, you may need a bigger size to compensate. Narrow rings are more forgiving and you can get away with a smaller size.
